We have a litter planned for this fall for Brie. We are currently welcoming reservations for this much anticipated litter.
Each one of our litters are special to us and we put in a great amount of thought, time and research to make sure we are producing sound, solid, well rounded puppies. All parents are health tested and have their OFA clearances for hips, elbows and eyes along with having a genetic DNA panel done.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home. They are well socialized, exposed to noise, grooming, different dogs when old enough, cats, social situations, car rides, people of all ages to help them to develop a well-rounded personality. We begin to crate train the pups at 5 weeks to get them used to it, along with getting them used to being separated from their litter mates. We find that this helps the puppy transition to their new homes and makes potty training much easier.
We never allow a puppy to go home prior to eight weeks of age. When they are ready to head to their new homes, they will have been de-wormed 3 times, have their first set of vaccinations and will be microchipped. You will receive a puppy packet when you pick them up which will include their AKC registration, health records, microchip information, a DNA genetic panel clearances, an initial eye exam and a packet of information for each parent.
We carefully watch our puppies as they grow and mature. We do extensive temperament testing to ensure we place the right puppy with the right family. What this means is that we decide which puppy is suited for which family. We try our best to take into consideration your sex/color requests but it is of the utmost importance that we place the right personality/energy level puppy with a home best suited for them.
The first step is filling out our Puppy Questionnaire. This allows us to get a basic understanding of you and your family which helps us know what we are looking for in a puppy for you.
If you are on our waiting list you will get an update from us within a week or the litter being born. You will then be added to our private FB group so you can follow the puppies progress. There will be official photos taken at 4 weeks, 6 weeks and 8 weeks. At 8 weeks the puppies will have their initial eye exams preformed. We will be evaluating the litter to decide which puppies we will hold back as show prospects. Once that decision is made, you will be contacted in the order of deposits received.
Pet/companion puppies are $1,800 and required to be spayed/neutered.
A pet/companion puppy is a puppy sold with limited registration, meaning there is no ability to breed or register offspring. This does not mean they are not a quality dog - it just means that breeding should only be done to better the breed and not be taken lightly. These dogs can compete in everything that a full registry dog can, with the exception being conformation. We prefer that you come pick up your puppy directly from us, but will consider shipping.
*We require a $300 Deposit to reserve a Pet/companion puppy for you with the balance due when you pick your puppy up. ALL Deposits are Non-Refundable.
Show prospects are sold on an individual basis. We are very selective on what we send out into the show ring. All show prospects are sold on a Co-Own contract and will stay that way until the dog is done with conformation showing/breeding. Once the dog is spayed/neutered the registration will be signed over solely to the owner. If you are interested in a show puppy please inquire for more information.
